Monday was fun. I hung out with Stephanie, my oldest brother Brian's wife. I have never spent anytime with just her. All we did was get or nails done and go to lunch, but it was so much fun. Both of my sister-in-laws are awesome. I don't remember being particularly close to either one of my brothers when I was younger...as they are 10 and 13 years older then me. When I was 6, Aaric was 16 and he moved in with us. Let me tell you, 16 year old boys just generally do not want their 6 year old sister hanging out with them...it's "uncool". So now that we are all older, we are all finally getting to be a closer sibling group. I like it. ...now if we could just make Andy an 'official' part of the group! Ha ha.
Yesterday I went to work. I did 3 dogs...woo. They were good dogs though...all were good and stood there like a champ...except for the nail cutting...2 of them didn't like that. After work, I picked up the dogs from day care, went home and got ready for dinner. Mom, Dad, my aunt Diane, and uncle Mark, and I all went to dinner. It was very fun.
Today so far I slept in with the dogs until 11. The "official" sibling group is going to dinner tonight, as the unofficial member is working. Too bad for him.

Christmas with the Ards/Malins
Christmas day was my first day off in 6 or 7 days...so it was nice..except the part with Deuce waking me up every hour starting at 5 in the morning, and then Andy waking me up. Deuce was sick, and Andy wanted to open presents. He loved his chair, and his wallet. I got a TomTom!! And a new Wii game. Ultimate board games. It has the awesome games like checkers, connect 4, sudoku, battle ship, and so on. It is awesome. Friday was slow as crap at work, but I had two request dogs so it was ok.
Yesterday was our family Christmas. To start the day I got my hair done. As soon as I get the pictures from my mom, I will post some pictures. I got it cut short and highlighted. I really like it. My brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Stephanie, came in from Missouri for the first time for Christmas. And then Aaric, Noelle, Kayla, and Chase all came also. It was really fun. I got a Crock Pot, cook books, and other cooking things, and pink luggage! Very exciting.
Today we will just have to see what the day brings.
Joke of the day:
Q: How do you make a bandstand?
A: Take away their chairs.

Merry Christmas
So the last few days have been insane at P mart. Everybody's all "omg, my dog smells like a dog, and people are coming over!" So it has been non stop since last Friday. My last day off was last Wednesday...and I am just exhausted. And I STILL have to go in today! Yesterday was great fun. I worked 1:30 to 10 with Berni (one of the bathers) the last groomer left at 7. Berni went to get this little min pin out of a cage and it tried to eat her. So I got the bite gloves (giant welding type gloves) and got it out, and then it got loose in the kennel area, so I was trying to keep it in the corner with my shoe while Berni put a loop lead on it...so it bit a hole in my shoe. The sad thing is, I don't wear normal tennis shoes....I wear these monster hiking boots. Now with lovely teeth marks in it. Needless to say, we sent the dog home without a bath. The good news of yesterday is that I made a total of $45 in tips! And only from 3 customers! $25 was from one person! Merry Christmas to me!
Today won't be as busy as people should be spending it at home with family...not out and about. We also close early (at 6), so it won't be that bad. Have a good Christmas everyone!
Joke of the day:
Q: What do you get if you cross an apple with a Christmas tree ?

Day of excitement
Alright! Class was last night, and Deuce was 10x better! He still barked and snapped at, but he wasn't lunging growling...blah blah blah. He was sitting and he snapped out of it pretty quickly. Half way through class I had an idea. Okay, he isn't dog aggressive in anyway shape or form, he is just extremely protective of me. So I decided to leave the training area. I gave his leash to the trainer and I walked to the other side of the store out of his sight. The other dog went right up to him and he didn't even care. All he cared about was where in the hell did mommy go? When I came back, I ignored him until he calmed down. By the end of class, he walked up to the other dog they sniffed noses and he could care less! We even walked right past them when we left. It was awesome.
Today was crazy busy at work. I ended up doing 8 dogs (that's 5 more then my average day). Dogs = money so yay!
Andy has had the whole week off, so he went to Savannah to see his sister...he is coming home today. I thought he was coming home tomorrow...so I am very excited. Let's just pray his car doesn't break down on the way home!
Joke of the day:
Q: Why does Santa have 3 gardens?
A: So he can hoe hoe hoe!

Deuce
So this week has been interesting. Tuesday I got off early and went to the mall with Hope. That was fun. We shopped for a little while and talked. I love Hope.
Wednesday was my one day off for the week and my mom invited Andy and I over for dinner (mainly because Dad needed Andy to connect some DSL thingy, but hey, free food is free food). So I decided to bring Deuce over to see how he would react to Sadie (Mom's 15 year old dog). I wanted the visit to be as routine as possible and not freak him out about changing anything. So when we got there, we didn't put him on a leash...because he never wears one there. He saw Sadie in the doorway and couldn't have cared less. He walked right past her in the house just like he always had. So that was good news. Later I had him outside playing fetch and the neighbor had his dog out on a leash. This dog Deuce has never met before, but the boy he had met. When he initially saw him, he barked and charged at them, but when he got to the dog, he just sniffed him and came back to me. Whoop!! So he really isn't dog aggressive, he is just a tad overprotective. :)
Today I took him to doggie day care (again, I don't want to change his routine) and they said he did fine. So I can only hope that tomorrow's training class will go better then last time. I will keep you all updated.
Christmas in 7 days!
Also, for those of you who don't know. The new PetSmart in Canton is opening in March (I think the 20th). My name was put into the list of names to go up there! Yay!
Joke of the day:
Q: Why did the booger cross the road?
A: Because he was being picked on!

New Beginnings
So the last few days have been interesting.
Friday started Deuce's training class. I went to the vet first to get a copy of his medical due dates and to get his current weight. While we were waiting for someone to take him back to the scale, two dogs started to come into the front door, which scared him enough, but then out of nowhere a third dog came from the other direction and bombarded him and scared the shit out of him (literally). So he was stressed out by the time we got to PetSmart. I got there early to help him get used to where we were. When the other dog got to the training arena all hell broke loose. I don't know what came over him, but he just went ballistic. He was trying to kill the other dog. He was barking, lunging, growling, showing his teeth, the whole bit. It took him 15 minutes to calm down. I have never been so embarrassed in my life. By the end of the class he was calm enough to lay down next to the other dog, but he couldn't sniff her. He would lunge...but not viciously. So we have a lot of work to do for class. He goes to day care once a week and goes to Mom's house with her dog all the time...I'm not sure why he all of a sudden decided to become dog aggressive. He might have just been overly protective...who knows.
I also got a new computer. Dave (my laptop) is about 5.5 years old...and was about ready to throw him off the balcony. He was slow and crappy. So Mom and Dad gave me one of their old computers that they reformatted. Just like new! I named him McGee after Tim McGee on NCIS who is the computer guy on the show. :) So far McGee is awesome.
My final for Probability and Statistics was last Monday, and I thought I did fairly well on it. However, the two prior tests I didn't do too well, so I was scared that I didn't do well in the class. I have already failed this class once, so this was a big deal. Well, I finally got my grades in. I got an 84 on the final, and ended up with a B in the entire class! I have never been so excited for a B in my life!
Christmas is in just 11 days! I can't wait!

Poo
Oh what a horrible day!! It started out with Roo wanting to go outside at 4:30 this morning. Which wouldn't be so bad, but both of them have holiday collars...with jingle bells on them. So all I kept hearing was jingle jingle jingle jingle....so I finally got up and let them out on the back porch where the sod box was...as it was POURING down rain. Neither one of them would go potty outside, so I put them in their crates (I don't want them learning that if they wake me up in the middle of the night they get to do what they want to do)...so when Andy got up he walked them and then put them back in their crates. Well when I woke up...Roo had pooped in her crate...and I mean a MASSIVE pile.. so I get that all situated and took them outside again...and then Deuce had diarrhea...fun stuff.
When I get everybody cleaned up I went to the car as I had a doctor's appointment. So I get to my car and I guess as I was turning on my car, some guy illegally parked his car right behind me to get his child from the stairs. I ended up backing into his car. I scratched the paint on his bumper, but nothing more. To make things worse, this guy is foreign so he doesn't speak very good English. I had to explain to him like 6,000 times that my insurance would pay for it. He wanted to call the police, so I told him that we didn't need to call the police for something this small, and if he did we would be waiting for an hour just for us both to get a ticket... as I ran into him, but he was illegally parked.
So I finally got all of that squared away and was late for both my appointment and for work. Then I got to work, and only had one dog to groom. It wasn't even worth me going in. However, I did get to leave 2 hours early because we had nothing to do.
So that was my crappy day.
Joke of the day:
Q: Why was Tigger always smelly?
A: Cause he was always playing with Pooh!

Woo Hoo!
School is done! I took my final today and I am pretty sure I did great. My professor has fly over seas later this week, so he has to have all of his grades in early. So to make things easier on him, he made our final a multiple choice. I love multiple choice! So I am pretty sure I did pretty good on it. YAY! Now I get to relax and not think about school for the rest of the year. Just work and being lazy. I just wanted to let you all know!
And if anyone feels the need to donate to the "Stephanie wants the new pink Vaio laptop fund" feel free...just throwing that out there. :)

Voice box. Lame.
So my voice is still not all the way back to normal. I can talk...I just sound like a chain smoker. Lame.
Missy called out today, so we groomers washed all the bath dogs. I did the first dog...it was a 3 pound chihuahua. My dog craps bigger then this thing...she was so cute...but then she threw up on herself...not so cute. I had to bathe her twice. But she was all clean by the time she left. :) I did a total of 5 dogs today...but I only got paid for 2. The other 3 were bath dogs, and I don't get paid for them...even though I did them. I think that is a bunch of bull crap...corporations suck! Lame.
Deuce woke me up in the middle of the night because he had to poop...but then he threw up...mulch. He hasn't eaten mulch in months!! Yet for some unknown reason he ate it again! Lame.
Joke of the day: (not lame)
Q: How do you make a lemon drop?
A: Hold it, and then let it go!

Christmas Time!
Alright...well for the last two days I have had laryngitis. I haven't been able to talk for 2 days. I called in today as they said I sounded like crap. Sunday we went to Mom's house for dinner. Monday we decorated the house! I found Roo's jingle collar...now she jingles wherever she goes! Deuce will soon have a festive collar...but Andy told me I had to get one that is "manly"...I just don't know how manly a Christmas collar can be, but I will try!
Here is our new center piece. Mom gave me all of this...as I have few decorations.

Craziness!!
Savannah was fun, but it's good to be home. I missed my puppies. I had to work 7 - 3:30 on Friday...there were like 10 people standing outside of PetSmart at 6:50 when I got there waiting for the doors to open! Come on people what do you really think is going to happen at PetSmart. Some chick asked if we had any good deals while I was waiting to be let in. I just told her that I groomed dogs and had no idea what was going on. HA!
Craziness
After work I went to retrieve my precious babies. They were so excited to see me! Although...I think I was more excited to see them. I took them straight back to work as 3 days and 2 nights at daycare did bode well with smelly good dogs. They strongly disapproved of this "bath" I had to give them...but as Roo sleeps on our bed, it was a necessary evil. They came home and crashed...and really haven't moved much since.
Saturday we were slow as crap at work. I only did 3 dogs...I usually do at least 5, but I have done up to 7 to 9 on Saturdays..so that totally blew. Today was even slower, but I came prepared. I brought my ribbon to make bows with and pretty much made bows all day. Fun times!
Joke of the Day:
Q: Why aren't dog's tails 12 inches long?
A: Because then it would be a foot!

Happy Thanksgiving!
So here I am in Savannah GA with Andy's very small laptop. I guess I will take what I can get. We left Tuesday night after work to come down here at about 10 at night. We got here at 3:30 in the morning. Yesterday we hung out just relaxed. Today the house is filled with the aroma of a future turkey dinner. Andy's grandmother is cooking...I can't wait until tonight to eat it!
I just wanted to say hello to everyone and say Happy Thanksgiving!

Bad Day
Oh today was a bad day. I couldn't wake up; I finally dragged myself up and head out the door for work. I got there and my second dog pooped on itself twice! I had to rebathe it and everything... Then my pants tore, so I had to walk around all day with torn pants because Andy didn't have his phone with him so he didn't answer it to bring me new pants. At least the liner was black (same color as the pants). Almost all my dogs fought me...but I ended up with 6 dogs and finished them all on time.
I have my test tomorrow, so we will see how tomorrow is.

JOKES
I am so slackin' on the jokes lately. Here are few to make up for them...
From Aunt Diane:
Q: Why did the Siamese twins go to England?
A: So the other one could drive.
Some more:
Q: What's brown and sticky?
A: A stick!
Q: Why can't a chicken coop have more than 2 doors?
A: Because if it had 4 doors it would be a chicken sedan.

Busy like a Bee
I have been busy lately..hence the lack of posts. Work has been picking up as the holidays come near, and I have a test on Monday that I have been attempting to study for. It has been insane!! I am tired and still sick...I have been sick since last Tuesday...I'm about over it.
I did 5 dogs today. Every single one of them was bad for at least one thing. Sheltie - bites for brushing of tail. 1st Shih Tzu - whined and screamed just for having to stand on the table and squirmed like worm. Poodle - bites for nails. 2nd Shih Tzu - bit me just for petting it and then had giant red/raw butt which had to be sent to the vet (not my fault the dog was matted and had poop matted onto it's butt trapping bacteria...which I know you all wanted to know). 3rd Shih Tzu - matted on legs and bit and scratched for dematting.
My arm looks horrible from all the war I have endured today.
Emotionally I feel weird today. I don't know what it is. I am tired and feel defeated...eventually it will pass.

Couch
Well last night we got a new couch and chair. We lost some seating and the dog's aren't really thrilled as they don't have as mush room. But I like it, there is more space in our living room now. And the old couch was gross anyway. Here are a few pictures...don't mind the crazy look in the dog's eyes.

Bored
Tv is my friend. Pretty much all I have been doing is watching tv all day...and working. However, today there is nothing on tv...NOTHING...the most exciting things is the Amazing Race...and I don't like it. The Wizard of Oz is on, but it was on last night and I watched it then. I think I am just going to turn in early tonight.
I have tomorrow off and so does Andy. We will hopefully be getting a new couch. It's pretty. Hopefully the dogs won't tear it up. We can only see...it can't get any worse then the crap of a couch that we have now.
My toe feels better today. For those of you who do not know...two days ago I came home from work and my toe was asleep...the only problem was it never woke up. For 2 days it was tingly and numb. I guess today it decided to wake back up. Woohoo!
Joke of the day:
Q: If a athlete gets athlete's foot what does an astronaut get?
A: Mistle Toe.

blah...
So I have been sick for the past three days. It started Tuesday morning, and got worse as the day went by. By the time I went to bed, I literally could not breath out of my nose.
Wednesday morning I was still sick and opted to rest and not go to school. Andy and I then went to my mom's house as it was Andy's birthday and my mom made him dinner. We played Wii (with all the strength me and my mom could muster...as we are BOTH sick) most of the night. Aaric, Noelle and Chase also joined us. We had homemade veggie beef soup and cheesecake. Went to bed still sick.
This morning I was still sick. I took the dog's to day care, and went to work. My coworkers told me to go home...so I did. I took some wonderful medications and slept until 1. Watched t.v. and eventually went to go pick up my dogs. I feel better though as two days of rest and medication is helping. Hopefully I will get better as the night goes on.
Joke of the day:
Q: What did one casket say to the other casket?
A: Is that you coffin?

I had to pry myself out of bed this morning. I so did not want to get up. I could have slept until 2 if I could have. School was no fun and uneventful, but I did make it through the class...
I went to Wal-mart today and was successful there. I am now done with 3 of 10 people to Christmas shop for. My goal for the year is to not buy a single gift card...so far so good. I also bought frames for the pictures that I had gotten of the dogs. But the most important purchase was of the memory card adapter. I can now upload pictures straight to my computer so I can put more pictures up.
After Wal-mart I took the dogs to PetSmart because they smelled like donkey butt. They dislike having baths, but it is a necessary evil. They now smell fresh and clean. Then the 3 of us headed to Mom's house. I got free dinner (thanks Mom!) and the dogs had a great time. Deuce is finally starting to calm down and feel secure. Dad even got to scratch him! He has never let Dad do that, so this is great.
Here are some pictures for you!

Time Change
I really dislike the winter time. I hate daylight savings time. It totally screws with your system. You get used to a time and then OH! let's go change it. Dogs do not understand this time change business, so you must get up earlier (unlike the summer when you get to get up later)...and then it's freakin' bright as crap outside at like 8. And then it is pitch black at 7. It is very annoying...I just had to get that off my chest.
Andy and I went to Chris's house last night. He was having a party. I don't really go to parties and last night just proved that I still don't like them. I don't drink, so that might be a part of it. It was cold outside...they had a fire...and at some point the grass caught on fire. However, we were at a firefighter's house, and about 70% of the people there were firefighters (however intoxicated), so I felt a little safer. It was fun up until the part when I wanted to go home, and my lovely boyfriend did not. So I left him. I got home about 1:45 or so... I still haven't heard from him...I'm sure he is fine though.
I am excited about one thing...I might be getting a new couch (well new to me, but a used one). So this is very exciting. Nothing else is that new...I am on my last vacation day of the year...so I must go fill the day with something to do!

Busy Day
Today was an interesting day. It started off with me haveing to take both dogs to the vet by myself. Deuce was expired on his bordatella, and needed it to go to day care. So we went and I somehow managed to keep them both under control. I then took them to daycare and went to work.
At work we had to deal with Pete all day. Pete is the District Manager of PetSmart. He came in a few times, but we had to make sure we were doing something and that everything was labeled right, and swept and cleaned. It was exhausting. He came at 10 and didn't leave until 5. He said (jokingly) that I complained too much, but I was merely trying to explain to him why we don't like the bathing system that we use... he ended up buying us two large bags of candy! It was awesome. I even told him some of my wonderful jokes...
Andy also figured out that he has the Wednesday before Thanksgiving off, so we are going to Savannah to see his family. This means we must board the dogs. Roo has been boarded before, but this will be Deuce's first time. I called and made the reservations, and asked for them to be together. We will have to see if it works out. They are going to be boarded at the same place that they go to daycare...so it shouldn't be too bad.
Joke of the day:
Q: If a dime and a quarter were on the Empire State Building, which would jump off first?
A: The dime, because it has less cents.

Today
One day Andy will somehow get my computer so I can put more pictures on here! I got my nails done yesterday, and I got a paw print put on each of my thumb nails, and they are so cute...I would really like to show you but...you will just have to wait.
My parents came home today!!! I am so excited. I saw them for a mintue. I only got to go home for my lunch break because I had to register for classes. I will go back tomorrow with the dogs and Andy!
And as mentioned earlier, I registered for classes today. I have Differential Equations and Modern Algebra II. Doesn't that sound like fun? You know you are jealous. If all works out as planned, I will graduate in one year...at least that's the plan.
And as requested...
Joke of the day:
Q. What does a dog call his father?
A. Paw!

Trick nor treat
Yesterday was Halloween, and as expected, we had not a single trick or treater. We did have a knock on the door...but it was the neighbor asking if I got any kids show up. I told her no and that last year I didn't get anyone either. She told me that she didn't even see any kids walking around the complex. It was sad. I guess they all went to actual neighborhoods to get candy. So Andy, Chris and I ate all the starbursts and played Wii. It was fun, but the computer whooped our asses. Lame.
Today was busy. I did 6 dogs, 4 of which were large. I broke my glasses (the nose piece)...and left an hour late. It was not so much fun...but hey, I left with $20 in tips.
I came home and walked the dogs. I explained one more time that Deuce is not a Great Dane, but a Cane Corso to a very nice man. He laughed and said everything Italian was expensive...I agreed. :) I also worked on their training. Deuce is supposed to learn to ignore a treat when I tell him and also lay down on a hip...he learned both within 5 minutes. Roo on the other hand is slowly (and I mean slowly) learning the "light" command. But as far as training goes, they are both doing well.
And here is a joke for you:
Two goldfish were in their tank. One turns to the other and says, 'You man the guns, I'll drive.'
HAHAHA...you know it's funny. :)

Normality
Well the last few days have been quite normal. Monday I cleaned the house (and I mean clean). We also moved the bird cage to make it bigger in our living room; it was almost a disaster. The wheels kept falling of the cage, so I had to crawl behind the cage and put the wheels back on while Andy literally held the cage up. It was quite humorous.
Deuce also went to evaluation yesterday. I took him in for about an hour and a half with the trainer. I want to put him directly into intermediate class as he already knows the basics. He did great for his evaluation. He even became friends with the trainer (no small feat for my 'pansy' of a dog). He does get to go straight into intermediate, I just have to work on some things. He has a "to do list" that needs to be accomplished first.
Also exciting is that Mom and Dad come back in 5 days!! Woohoo!

Pictures and Lindsey
Yesterday was picture day. It was great! The dogs did way better then I thought they would. I did have to be the one that made Deuce sit and stay on his mark because he didn't want to listen to the other people with me right there. Roo also kept messing up the backdrop; it was taped to the floor and she kept sliding on it. They had to retape it like 4 or 5 times. But other then that...they did awesome.
What else is awesome is that I got to go see Lindsey today! (I look horrible, but whatever!) That's part of Jax in the picture. I miss her so much. It was awesome to see her.
This is Jax. Her Great Dane. Isn't he cute? Deuce won't get quite that big...

Photo Shoot
Today was a pretty good day. I got to work and did a grand total of 3 dogs. We all got really really bored, and Amanda got a new camera...sooo, we started putting bows in people's hair. It started with our manager Nancy, and then she showed Judy...Judy has a mullet (no really, she has mullet), so we made two braided pig tails and put bows in her hair, and then we put bows on Anthony's (another manager) glasses. They were apparently bored too. Then we just started taking a bunch of random pictures, including some of several of us in the cages in the back...yeah, we're retarded, but it sure made the time go faster!
As soon as my day at work was over, I drove to my mom's house on the long shot that my phone arrived after less then 24 hours of ordering...and by some miracle it was there! It is so cool...although I have absolutely NO phone numbers...so if you could text me with your name or e-mail it to me or something...I would greatly appreciate it!
I also bought a new collar for Roo! It's really pretty..it's pink leather with alternating spikes and gemstones. I am keeping my receipt though because I may not like it as she may stab one of us...we will give it a few days to see how it goes!
I took pictures of all of this...however I have two cameras. The one that I have the with the cable straight to my computer has two dead batteries...and the other one only has a memory card that plugs into my printer, but my printer is not hooked up to my laptop...but as soon as Andy comes homes and fixes this problem for me, I will post pictures!

Washing Machine Blues
The day started out well. I got to sleep in, the dogs were sleepy, and Andy has the day off. Andy went to go play basketball with Ricky, and I stayed home to do laundry and clean up. I put the first load in and went on my way. I then went to take the first load out of the washer. I took about half of it out, and then LOOK there was my phone at the bottom under a shirt. That's right I washed my phone...the sad thing is that my last phone was dropped in a toilet...me with phones and water are just not a good match. So I just ordered a new phone...a cooler phone...but I have to wait for a day or two before I get it. Chris has an old phone that I am going to use until I get my new phone. So no worries Mom, I won't be out and about with no phone! :)

Watch Dog
So the party was fun. Deuce was not a fan of having to stay at work with me all day, but thankfully it was really slow so I let him run around the front of the salon for several hours. He was very nervous but with the promis of squirt peanut butter...he did a fine job. He got 3rd place in the costume party. A golden retriever fairy butterfly got 2nd, and a bunny rabbit dragon got 1st. He got really nervous at the end, he was kind of cornered and there was an unruly German sheperd next to him...so we left. We did get a $5 gift card for 3rd place and a gift/goody bag for just being there. It has treats and stuff in it, but most importantly it had a $10 off training class coupon! Woohoo!
Woohoo! I have tommorrow off, and class was canceled! AND I have this weekend off. Saturday the dogs have an appointment with a professional pet photographer. Sunday I am going to see Lindsey! I am so excited; it has been MONTHS since I have seen her. I miss her. So I am very excited to go see her. :)

Howl-O-Ween Party
Tommorrow is the How-O-Ween Yappy Hour party!! I spent about an hour on Deuce's costume. He is a watch dog!! The 'watch' even works!! I am so excited, and he doesn't mind putting it on or wearing it. Now, I know in these pictures he has a pink coat on...I am getting him a blue one for the party. The watch keeps turning, slipping, and sliding, so I had to put something on him to keep it from moving. A coat was the best option, and the only one I had was Roo's...you can also see the reflective tape on it... it will look better for the party, but you get the idea. He will look more masculine tomorrow. :)

Speaking of watches....I had to keep a close eye on my watch today as I had midterm today. (How's that for a transition). I think I did ok with it...better then last time anyway! No need for cause of alarm.
There was also a fire alarm that went off in our apartment complex. The alarm went off and the fire department came, but there was no fire or smoke. The firefighters were there for about 45 minutes trying to figure out what the problem was...I don't know if they ever figured it out.
I like how I figured out how to add pictures...now I will add more in later posts!

Training
So now that Deuce is neutered and recovered, I am going to start training and working with him more. He is going in for an evaluation on the 30th to see if he can go straight into intermediate class. I never put him in puppy class...I taught him myself. He is almost 8 months old and he can sit, down, stay, leave it, shake, "watch me", bang bang, spin in a circle, and walk loosely on a leash; I don't think that is half bad for me training him myself. That is all the main things they teach in puppy class, which is why I want to bypass that. If he is successful, we will start class in December. If all that goes well, we will start on training him to be a therapy dog. He just needs to get over his shyness.
Work is also picking up in business. This is good, as we are not sitting on our asses all day now. It's going to get crazy busy as the holidays get closer.
The Howl-O-Ween Yappy Hour party is on Tuesday! I bought Deuce's costume...well part of it, I have to make it now. I bought a wall clock, and I am going to put it on his back with a giant strap...instant 'watch dog'. You know your jealous. I want to put him in the "best costume" contest...but I don't know if I am aloud as I work there and all... Maybe I can at least have employee recognition or something. I will take a picture...no worries.

Beverley Crap Chihuahuas
Work was ok today, I only did two dogs today...but it was ok.
So, I really wanted to go see that Chihuahua movie...but I am not going to. My friend went to see it and she told me not to see it. Do you know why I should not go see it? I will tell you. Apparently the main "bad dog" in the movie is a doberman. They portray this doberman as a mean vicious dog, and he is the king of a dog fighting ring. First off, I am sick and tired of dobermans being the bad dogs. Second, dobermans were never ever bred for dog fighting rings, so why would they put one as the king? And why add this to their reputation? AND then in the end of the movie the stupid Chihuahua and a German Shepperd kill the doberman...please tell me how this is appropriate for a kid's movie?
So anyway, I got home and now Andy is watching 300. It's a good movie (lots of very in shape men wearing absolutely no shirts in the entire movie), but a little gory.
Nothing else new, I just wanted to vent about the movie...

Bang Bang
Yesterday was wonderful. I got up and took Roo to PetSmart and then took Deuce to the vet to get his stitches taken out. Two weeks ago when he got neutered, he was 73 lbs. and yesterday he was 80 lbs! This means I do not have to freak out so bad because he hasn't been eating all of his food. He is obviously eating.
So then I took Deuce to meet up with Roo and they both got baths. I put a pink tutu on Roo and walked her around. I was going to buy it, but everybody laughed at her. I thought she was cute. After bath time, I took them to the tennis court at the complex and just let them run. Deuce LOVED it! He finally could release that energy.
After that I went to school (the worst part of the day). Good news though, there is no school next Wednesday! Woohoo!
I got my nails done also...my fingers crack and bleed at the ends if I don't in the winter time.
When I got home, I decided to work on the dog's training. I am in the middle of teaching Roo to turn on and off light switches. She first has to learn to touch my hand on command, and she is doing really well with that. Deuce learned "bang bang"...which is the same as "dead dog". I point a finger at him and say "bang bang!" and he (slowly) lays down on his side like I "shot" him. He doesn't just flop down yet, and his head is still up looking at me, but hey, it's start! Next I am going to teach him to speak on command!
And so far this morning, Andy has the day off, so he is in the middle of making me breakfast! Yay!

Transitions
OK, so Deuce is still driving me crazy but there is only 2 more days until the stitches come out! Woohoo! Now if I can only get him to eat. In other news, Andy was supposed to have today off, but alas he is working again. Sad. He was supposed to go out to dinner with me and Hope and Lance and some other people. What a loser.
Today was actually quite busy at work. We have been rather slow that past couple of days, but I ended up doing six dogs. Puchito was one of them, he is one of my request Maltese. I heart him. I got a new request today too. A little Yorkie named Mollie. The lady was very nice; $3 tip! Also the tension isn't so bad as it had been lately.
I miss my parents...they have only been gone almost a week, but they still have like 3 1/2 weeks until they come home. It is sad. I went over to get there mail today, it was so lonely, even though I was talking to my mom on the phone. It is still sad. There wasn't even any coke in the fridge to comfort me. :(
I like how I have no smooth transition from paragraph to paragraph... I just start something then end it. I think next time I am going to try and transition the paragraphs better. We'll see if that is more cohesive.

Bouncing
I'm not sure mastiffs are supposed to frolic and bounce...but mine sure does. Every time I come home he bounds around like baby deer...except he is not NEARLY as graceful as one. I find it funny; however, I'm sure my downstairs neighbors do not. Oh well, they already don't like me as it is.
I groomed 3 dogs today. One of them was my request bichon, Charlie, whom I love. So it wasn't so bad. Then I had to sit in the grooming salon all by myself for 2 hours. Talk about boring.
But when I got home!...I got a package...I have no idea what it is, as it is at the leasing office and I cannot receive it until tomorrow. But it is exciting...I never get anything other then bills...so yay for me!
I don't know if any of you who also blog on this same site have this, but when you write a post at the bottom there is a place where you can put a 'label for the post' and it says "e.g. scooters, vacation, fall" Now for one, who is going to write an entire post about scooters? And two, I could put that as all of mine because my dad calls me Scooter, and I find it funny. To those of you who merely read this, but do not also blog...I'm sorry you had to read this paragraph and have no idea what I am talking about.

Ups and downs
Well today didn't start off well, but in the end it was ok. The dogs are driving me crazy...still. Deuce broke his e-collar. I took Roo to day care and went to vet to get Deuce sedatives. Now if I can just get him to eat ALL of his food at meal time everything would be great!
Andy and I had the day off together so we went to the good ol' Wal-Mart to get Halloween things. We got a pumpkin, those little pumpkin/gourde decoration things, candy, and a 24 piece graveyard kit all for $30. I think we did pretty good. I made dinner (spaghetti) and I think we are going bowling in a little while.
Everything is just a bit stressful, and it will be until Deuce is back to normal. AHHHH!! And as soon as he gets the stiches out...he is getting a bath. Cause he stinks!

First Post
Well, today was my first day back from a week long vacation...and it has been a shitty day! I had a bad dog that tried to bite me several times, another dog that barked the whole time, and a giant Newfandland. Then we had a meeting...which wasn't really a meeting, it was more of what I like to call a "bitch fest"...cause that is all it was. All of us bitching. I hate these meetings. I believe they are pointless. It pretty much consisted of the managers saying these are the new policies and you are going to follow them no matter what. It ended an hour later then it was supposed, and still pretty much got us nowhere. Pointless.
And then there is Deuce...he got neutered last monday (the 28th) and he has to wear the stupid cone/lamp shade thing on his head because he won't stop licking it. He is so hyper, and so badly wants to play so he runs around the house running into things and almost broke several things including our tv. I can take Roo to doggie day care to help her, but he isn't supposed to run, jump, play, go for long walks, or pretty much anything until next monday. I am going to ask about sedatives tomorrow...
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day. There is no work, but there is school. I HATE SCHOOL!! I think I want to be vet tech or work at the zoo one day...maybe be a vet tech at the zoo...in the mean time, I will be at school studying probability and statistics for a math degree. Yeehaw...
