Tuesday was an exciting day. I went to put the deposit down for the new house! I went to the Re Max office which Rick and Donna work. Rick is my landlord and Donna is his business partner who happens to be a childhood friend. Convenient! So I went to put the deposit down, but we are not officially going to be writing up the lease or anything until around May, 15th...just because we still have the apartment through May...no need to pay two rents if you don't have to! So I get there and give him the money when Donna comes out. Donna then asks Ricky if we could start to move some boxes in the garage just so we can get them out of the apartment as we do not have that much room. He said sure...and then gave me the key to the house! He said go ahead! Wooo hoo!
I also had to go run some errands...go to the bank and pick up my prescription. Yeah, so my Doc upped my meds...I am now taking twice as much as I was. The price went from $46 to $95! A month! It is soooo not cheap to be sane. Maybe one day they will make a generic brand of this crap. But until then...we will be scrounging up the money to keep me normal...
Yesterday work was a normal day at work...nothing worth typing about.
However Roo is worth it. She was so depressed the other day! I have never seen a dog just be depressed like that. I don't know exactly what the problem was. It might be all the boxes and Andy and I moving all around. We don't know the particulars as to where Roo came from...so a couple people have suggested it might be that her previous owners moved and just left her. But I also gave her flea and tick meds that same days, so she might have just not liked that. Whatever it was, she was breaking my heart! She wouldn't come to anyone, and when you went up to her she would look away and not look at you. She would take a treat and then go sit on the couch and mope...it was so sad! Then at night...she always sleeps on the bed...nope not that night, she slept UNDER the bed...she wouldn't get up on the bed for anything. I was scared she was going to be like this until we moved, but thankfully she was back to normal yesterday. I gave her a tennis ball, so she is happy again. Andy is moving a bunch of boxes on Friday to hopefully make more room and take away some of the stress on the dogs. Two more weeks!
Joke of the day:
Co-workers sympathized with a woman as she complained that her back was really sore from moving furniture.
"Why did you wait until your husband got home?" someone asked.
"I could have," the woman told them. "But the couch is easier to move if he's not on it."
